IT'S A BOY!!!

ramblings of a pregnant mom

Why? Why your butt AND thighs? I understand the belly, kinda like it. But REALLY, must the other things go as well?

Didn't my body just do this? Why yes, yes it did!

I swear I was never this tired before. Not this early. Is something wrong with me? I could sleep ALL day EVERY day.

I just ate. I'm talking I just ate a ton. I could keep going. I honestly have to make myself stop.

UGGGHHH the maternity clothes! I so don't want to buy new ones. There is no possible way that my maternity clothes from Jessie are going to fly. They weren't cute then, they're not cute now. I HATE spending money on maternity clothes..HATE IT...HATE IT I SAY!

Do you think it's a boy? What would we do? We've never had a boy before. We would have to buy cars, trucks, dinosaurs.

NO WAY is it a boy. We only have girls.

What will we name her? I'm only thinking of "J" names. What if we name her a "J" name? Then Reese would feel left out, we don't want that. Oh, she wouldn't care. Or would she?

What if they still won't let kids come to the hospital come delivery time? I think it will crush me to not have them come meet their new bro/sis at the hospital. We won't have that hospital picture all scrunched together on my hospital bed. I would like the quiet though, quiet is nice.

For SURE it's a girl.

Arthritis is doing better. What if it went away FoReVeR? Oh, what a glorious thing that would be. Maybe I can think it away.

I can feel the baby move. I always love that.

oooohhhh, I still don't feel 100%. When will the nausea be gone for good? I'm really missing my PB&J's.

What will I do while Trav is hunting? FOR A WEEK! I might die of exhaustion. Something IS wrong with me. I'm just soooo tired.

I love the baby stage. So cute. So little. So innocent.

Oh, if it's a girl she could wear those darling booties Peggy made me. Love those. hmmmm where are those?

Who is going to share a room? Jessica/Reese? Reese/baby? Jessica/baby? Baby/us?

2 kids in cribs? I WILL not buy another crib. 2 kids in diapers. I WILL be buying tons of diapers.

Is this really it? Is our family really going to be complete? I think it just might. It feels good. Really good. Exciting good. Next chapter of our lives good.

update!

I am FINALLY starting to feel MUCH better! But while I was under the weather

the kids did a bunch of this: Picking fresh fruit off our peach, apple and pear trees, along with bowls of berries...mmmm.

And our little Jessie does not dress up as much as she

use to, but she still finds a way to put

together some fabulous numbers!

We've also been doing anything and everything Halloween. Our yearly Halloween scavenger hunt at Gardner Village was a huge success as always!

And our cute niece was able to dance in "Thriller" this year and although my husband is NOT a fan of Halloween, I was able to get him to come along and cheer her on!

Me: "No, it's just going to snow for fun."

Jessie: "Mom, we can say Christmas but we can't say "shut up" or "stupid"?" And we're not making Heavenly Father mad because we're just "talking about it"."

At our house we love the HOLIDAYS.  Who doesn't?

Reese Maries birthday:  June 25 (6 month mark to Christmas...what that's a holiday)

Baby #3  due date:  April 9 (we're pushing for Easter on the 4th)

sicker than sick sick sick (tops the last 2 by far).  NO, not planned.  Haven't been to the dr. yet (due date will most likely change, always does).  All I eat is hamburgers.   My poor kids are on their own.

9 Years ago we said "Yes"!  I can't imagine life any other way!  My slammin husband set up such a fun day for us.  He knows the way to my heart....spa, shopping and a movie!  Couples massage at Sanctuary....nice!  Shopping at some of my favs at Gateway! Dinner at Flemings (along with Thurl and Harpring).  And a chick flick to top her off!

One eventful weekend!

Jessie has been wanting to sleep out on the tramp with her daddy FOREVER! So Friday night they camped out. Although they only made it until midnight, Jessie still calls it a success. What an awesome daddy we have.
As for my adventure, my new years resolution from 2 years ago came to pass.

Jessie Kate had her "Preschool Program/Graduation" today. Guess who pulled the "shy" card and didn't want to participate? I thought I had her on board last night. Bribery with a new Barbie seemed to be doing the trick until we got there and she told me she didn't need it anymore, it could wait till her birthday! On our way home she asked if we could go to Target and just LOOK at the Barbies! Oh my sweet Jessie! How I love you! Wish us luck with the Primary prayer on Sunday!!!

Heartbreaker!

I've always been the mom who had to take her little girl by the hand and walk her into preschool. All the other kids seemed to race out of their cars as if they couldn't wait to leave their parents. Oh how I wished my little Jessie would do that. Why did she need me to walk her in EVERY time? Well, my day has come.

Last Tuesday on the way to preschool she told me she wanted to walk in "ALL BY MYSELF". Of course I was so excited and proud of her! But as she gave me a kiss and ran up the driveway my heart sunk! When did she get so big!?!

Where Oh Where Did My Baby Go!

A little update on our sweet Reese Marie. She is a mommas girl if there ever was one! She refuses to roll! What a little stinker. Dad says to count our blessings that we can still leave her in one spot and not worry but COME ON! Oh well. She sits like a champ, loves food, her big sister and of course..her daddy! We can't get enough of her!!

I always knew I wasn't a loser!

I just ate dinner along with 5 almond roca things, 3 peanut butter cups, a bite size butterfinger (hmmm..halloween candy STILL good!), a root bear float and a cup full of pancake mix (don't ask)! All while I watched the biggest loser!! C'mon, what is wrong with me?
